I am very excited to see The Books when they play a pair of sold-out shows at Boston’s ICA tomorrow.  The Books play a highly-recognizable brand of experimental folktronic that combines cello, programmed drum beats, acoustic guitar, and spoken word samples to create unique and frequently-beautiful textures.

    Must say, i was glad to see you post this Jason. I was blessed with the privilage of seeing the books a few weeks back in north adams mass for their first show in two years. They played a good chunk of new material which I hope you get to see tomorrow. The addition of the visual component makes this already unstoppable creative force into what I think really is the stuff genius.

    Note to readers: If you haven’t seen the books GO DO IT!
