The Points North have finished up recording their new album, Saw Across the Sound at Liberation Studios in Worcester, MA and are mixing it this weekend. Check out these pictures from their sessions!

The Points North have posted a new song called “Nut Island” on their MySpace page. It’s a cut from their forthcoming album, Saw Across The Sound, which will be released on vinyl on Grinding Tapes this autumn.
“Nut Island” is a stripped-down slow-burner, characteristic of TPN’s unique approach to folk music. However, the songs’s accessible melody and hushed charisma help distinguish it as one of TPN’s best songs to date.
